This beautiful 1930s classic home has been beautifully preserved in its original state, by five generations of one family. It has recently been transformed into an inn for visitors to the North Coast and Eureka, California.
Redwood Bungalow
The cozy detached bungalow includes a full living/dining room, modern kitchen, including any amenities you may need for a short or long stay and private bathroom with large spacious tile shower.
It comes with its own lockable, private yard. Great for bungalow guests to store bicycles, fishing gear, surf boards wet suits and coolers or just sitting in the sun.
A stay here includes a complimentary, hot morning breakfast basket delivered to your door, free WIFI, a large flat screen TV with access to cable and towel warmers.
Originally built in the 1930's the bungalow was recently renovated to update and add a bedroom for a queen size bed. The same classic features of the main house exist here, old growth redwood siding, divided six-pane windows and redwood bead board. All the features of a bed and breakfast with the facilities of a full service apartment.
Trillium Suite
The Trillium Suite is a beautiful apartment of rooms created with guest comfort and the luxury of a bed and breakfast.
At the top of the grand staircase, you will find a French door leading to your private space with a separate living room with comfortable furnishings, including Antiques and family heirlooms collected over the years, a fully outfitted modern kitchen. Your large private bathroom has the original pedestal sink and large 6' cast iron bathtub with shower made for a relaxing bath.
The stay includes a delivered, complimentary hot breakfast in a basket, free WIFI, a flat screen TV with access to cable and towel warmer. Join us for your bed and breakfast intended stay.
If you need two bedrooms, the Rhododendron Flat is available for you. Due to common space limitations, the TRILLIUM SUITE and RHODODENDRON FLAT are not available to rent TOGETHER.

Rhododendron Flat
The Rhododendron Flat is a two bedroom, full service apartment, great for two couples traveling together or a family needing two bedrooms, one a king size, the other a double bed. The flat includes living room, office, kitchen and free WIFI. The stay includes a complimentary hot breakfast delivered to you in a basket.
The second bedroom, with views over the roof tops toward the bay, has the original 1930's linoleum and beautiful bead board, old growth, redwood walls. The hand carved walnut bed came around Cape Horn in the 1800's. The room is decorated with family heirlooms, including the owner's grandfather's wooden handmade carpenter's box, hand carved rocking chair and grandmother's treadle sewing machine. The flat's private bathroom is shared by both bedrooms each with a separate entrance.
